Organizations are defined by McShane and Von Glinow as “groups of people who work interdependently toward some goal” (McShane, Von Glinow, 2012, p.5). To ensure that these teams of individuals to efficiently achieve their shared targets and functions, there should be some stage of strategic coordination amongst them that will facilitate a level of collaboration that is both environment friendly and efficient.
