Dear Friends: Ohnalee—Mermaid of Heceta Head, is the first book in a planned trilogy. I started writing about Ohnalee in the summer of 2006 when I first discovered her story. The sequel Mermaids of the Siuslaw, Quest for the Eyes of Atlantis was published during the winter of 2010. The books contain historic photos of Florence, Oregon in the early 1900s, and also full-page illustrations of Margaret Rose Lavell and her friends.
My original art has been computer enhanced to make the characters come to life with more energy and realism while still remaining true to the original work. All works are under copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.
